Community Rules

Majlis works when members share useful, specific, and trustworthy business knowledge. These rules exist to keep the platform valuable for readers and fair for contributors.

Be Useful

Posts and comments should add context, experience, evidence, a clear question, or a practical point of view. Empty promotion, copied material, spam, and engagement bait may be removed.

Be Transparent

Disclose conflicts of interest. If you are writing about your own company, client, employer, investor, portfolio company, affiliate offer, or sponsored placement, say so clearly.

Be Specific

Business claims should include enough detail for readers to understand them. Avoid fake metrics, misleading headlines, vague “market leader” language, unsupported accusations, and claims that cannot be checked.

Be Respectful

Critique ideas, products, companies, and strategies without harassment, hate, threats, doxxing, or personal attacks. Strong disagreement is allowed; abuse is not.

No Manipulation

Do not create fake accounts, coordinate artificial engagement, impersonate people or companies, scrape private data, or use automation to distort rankings, follows, comments, or reactions.

Sponsored Content

Sponsored posts and commercial placements must be labeled. Paid content should still be useful and accurate. Misleading ads or hidden sponsorships can be removed.

Moderation

Moderation decisions are made to protect the usefulness and trust of the community. Depending on severity, we may edit labels, reduce distribution, remove content, limit features, or suspend accounts.

Appeals

If you think a moderation decision was wrong, contact the platform team with the post, context, and reason for review. Clear explanations are easier to evaluate than vague complaints.
